As the event sponsor for the 4th Annual Native American Business Conference that took place this spring at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort located on the picturesque Santa Ana Pueblo Indian Reservation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Daimler Chrysler would like to congratulate NABA for an outstanding program.  The seminars, networking sessions and business to business forums provided an excellent opportunity for the over 300 participants to learn about native culture, business opportunities and to participate in networking events.  We look forward to 2005!

"I Recently Attended the 4th Annual Native American Business Alliance Conference held April 25th-28th at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya in New Mexico. The conference and the Native American Business Alliance organization is truly headed in the direction its founders intended it to. The direction is for Native Americans to become self-sufficient in the 21st Century and that Native Americans must continue to work together and with Corporate America and with the help of Corporate America, we can accomplish the goals of NABA. I encourage other Native Americans to join NABA".

As Vice President of Procurement and Supplier Diversity at UPS, I spend a significant amount of time attending conferences that are intended to be of benefit to all constituent groups.  While this may sound completely logical in theory, it is very difficult to achieve in practice.  The 2004 NABA Conference in Albuquerque, NM not only had something for everyone, it was just the right mix of business, culture and social activities.  The facility was outstanding, the seminars were insightful, the speakers were poised and their message was targeted and the activities left no one disappointed.

It was a wonderful opportunity for me personally to introduce my son to a part of his heritage he has not been exposed to.  I left Albuquerque feeling renewed and very proud to be a Native American.  I was even prouder to be associated with the Native American Business Alliance.

I wanted to share with you the wonderful experience I had at the NABA conference in New Mexico this year.  One of my goals as a Native American business owner was to work more with other Native American companies.  Prior to attending the NABA Conference, I was not aware of any organization that supported this goal until one of my associates came across an article that discussed Andra Rush and her success as a Native American business owner.  I later discovered that Andra was a member of NABA and I decided to attend the conference in New Mexico with a colleague.  We thought the conference was a huge success!  The guest speakers, long table discussions and talking circles were all extremely informative and added value to the conference, however, the relationships we forged was our greatest success.  Thanks again for all your support and we look forward to attending the conference next year in Orlando.
